CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow models: Specifically developed for sport shooting

While CZ SP-01 models find versatile use in both self-defense and competitions, the Shadow variants are designed specifically for sport shooting. Compared to the CZ SP-01, they are lighter and their ergonomics allow for quick, easy handling.

Given the sport focus of CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow models, available sights are primarily competition-oriented, typically with fiber optics and full windage/elevation adjustment.

You can choose according to your preferences between sights with fiber optics in both front and rear, white-dot sets, or fiber only in the front sight.

What to consider before choosing sights

Before deciding which sights to upgrade your CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow with, consider the following.

Fiber optics, white dots, or classic sights?

If you are not seeking a specific type, we recommend full fiber-optic sights — both rear and front.

From user feedback, a color contrast between front and rear fibers and differing fiber diameters is highly appreciated. A combination of 1 mm fiber in the rear (closer to the eye) and 1.5 mm in the front (farther away) provides a comfortable, fast sight picture. If you prefer fiber only in the front, a 1 mm rod is sufficient.

Ultimately, choose according to your personal preference and experience.

Can I install a red dot on my CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow?

Absolutely yes! Although CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow pistols are produced without a slide cut for optics, you can mount a red dot using a compatible red dot mount.

These mounts replace the rear sight in the dovetail. With the wide variety of mounts available, you can fit almost any popular red dot to your CZ.

What about the front sight when I install a red dot?

Once you install a red dot mount in place of the rear sight, the rear sight can no longer be used for aiming. If you’d like a clean look and to remove the now-unused front sight, a front sight filler offers an elegant solution.
