CZ compatibility guide for magazines

CZ magazines can be grouped into a few main categories:

  • Magazines for CZ polymer models (CZ P-10 series, CZ P-07, CZ P-09)
  • Magazines for CZ 75 full-size models (including CZ Shadow 2 and CZ 75 SP-01)
  • Magazines for CZ 75 compact models (CZ 75 Compact and CZ 75 P-01)
  • Magazines for CZ TS 2 and Tactical Sports models (CZ TS Czechmate, CZ TSO, CZ 75 Tactical Sports)

The CZ 2075 RAMI stands alone, as it does not share magazines with other CZ models.

Magazines for CZ P-10, CZ P-07 & CZ P-09

Polymer magazines are mostly interchangeable, except when the magazine is too short or in the case of the CZ P-10M, which uses a single-stack design. Differences come down to:

  • Length – longer magazines fit smaller models but protrude; shorter magazines do not fit larger models.
  • Mag pads – pads vary in thickness; using mismatched pads may affect grip comfort.

CZ P-07

Uses CZ P-07 magazines or CZ P-10C magazines (with a slightly thicker pad, which can be replaced).

CZ P-09

CZ P-09 magazines are identical to CZ P-10F magazines in 9×19 (same pads and length).

CZ P-10S

Requires CZ P-10S magazines only, as no other model shares this length.

CZ P-10C

Uses CZ P-10C magazines; CZ P-07 magazines also fit but may need a pad adjustment.

CZ P-10C magazine

CZ P-10F (9×19)

Interchangeable with CZ P-09 magazines. Older P-09 magazines (pre-2020) may differ slightly.

CZ P-10F (.45 ACP)

Uses unique magazines not compatible with other polymer models.

CZ P-10SC

Uses the same magazines as CZ P-10C.

CZ P-10M

Uses single-stack magazines unique to this model.

Magazines for CZ 75 Full-Size, CZ 75 SP-01 & CZ Shadow 2

All full-size CZ 75 models, including CZ Shadow 2 and SP-01, share the same magazine dimensions. Differences are in materials and mag pads, not fit or function.

Factory magazines are available in multiple capacities:

  • 16-round with standard metal pad
  • 17-round with extended pad
  • 18-round with polymer pad
  • 19-round with extended pad

All can be used interchangeably in CZ 75B, CZ 85B, CZ 75 SP-01, CZ SP-01 Shadow, and CZ Shadow 2.

CZ Shadow 2, CZ 75 SP-01 nickel magazine [9x19] | 19 rounds

Very old CZ 75 pistols used slightly thinner magazines. You cannot get those anymore, but you can modify the new ones to make them fit into old CZ 75 by removing little bit of the material. 

Magazines for CZ 75 P-01 & CZ 75 Compact

Both models use the same magazine. Versions exist with:

  • Metal pad (14 rounds)
  • Polymer pad (15 rounds)

These cannot be used in full-size CZ 75 models but share compatibility with the same mag pads, allowing extension by +2, +4, or +8 rounds.

Magazines for CZ TS 2 & Tactical Sports Models

All CZ TS 2 and older Tactical Sports models (TS, TS Orange, TS Czechmate) use the same 20-round magazines. These are not compatible with other CZ pistols. Mag pads are unique but available in standard, +3, and +8 round versions.
