CZ Shadow 2 Compact & Carry long grips [without magwell]

Both the CZ Shadow 2 Compact and CZ Shadow 2 Carry are based on the Shadow 2 platform but differ in size and materials. The CZ Shadow 2 Compact is the lightest of the three thanks to its aluminum-heavy construction, making it a strong choice for everyday carry and self-defense while keeping excellent ergonomics.

The CZ Shadow 2 Carry sits between the full-size Shadow 2 and the Compact. It’s shorter and more concealable than the standard Shadow 2, yet remains a robust, precise pistol using a mix of steel and aluminum. Designed for defense and law enforcement, it’s also popular with sport shooters for its accuracy.

Both models use the same long grips, which is why they’re grouped in this category. You’ll find long grips for CZ Shadow 2 here.

Long vs. short grips

This category includes only long grips for CZ Shadow 2 Compact & Carry. Use long grips when the firearm is not equipped with a magwell.

As of June 2025, short grips (for magwell setups) are not offered for these models.

NOTE: Compact/Carry also use long grips (if you’re not using a magwell)

We sometimes see customers look for short grips for CZ Shadow 2 Compact or Carry simply because the pistols are smaller. That’s not how grip length works. Short grips are for magwell use only; otherwise choose long grips.

What long grips can you choose?

We offer OEM CZ grips and premium options from Toni System (Italy), Eemann Tech, and LOK Grips (USA).

By material

Aluminum

Pros: Lightweight; many shapes, colors, finishes. Cons: Easier to scratch; less recoil absorption. Recommended: Sport (lighter setup), self-defense/EDC.

Polymer

Pros: Light, impact/corrosion-resistant, low maintenance, budget-friendly. Cons: Less premium look. Recommended: EDC, self-defense, beginners.

Brass

Pros: Very durable; adds weight for stability and grip; excellent recoil feedback; attractive appearance. Cons: Heavier, pricier. Recommended: Sport shooting where control and precision are key.

By size

Standard grips fit most hands. If they don’t feel right, choose a wider or slimmer profile to tune overall thickness and comfort.

Wider (3D) profile

  • Best for larger hands
  • Improves hand-to-frame contact for steadier shots and better recoil control
  • Reduces fatigue during long sessions

Slimmer profile

Great for smaller hands or if the pistol feels bulky or the trigger is hard to reach.

Some brands offer multiple thicknesses so you can dial in ergonomics (e.g., Eemann Tech grips in various widths).
